‘A Christmas Carol' The Musical Returns to Fairfield
Black Rock Theater will produce the musical version of the Dickens novel at Fairfield Theatre Company's StageOne December 12 - 14, 2025.

‘A Christmas Carol’, originally seen in New York at the famed Theatre at Madison Square Garden, will play a limited run on StageOne at Fairfield Theatre Company from Friday, December 12 through Sunday, December 14, for multiple performances.
Leading the company will be Martin Giannini (The Sound of Music, A Christmas Carol ’23, and Executive Director of the Red Bull Theatre) in the role of Ebenezer Scrooge.
Black Rock Theater, the award-winning non-profit theater organization that mounts professional productions and provides musical theater training, is completing the first year of a residency at Fairfield Theatre Company. ‘A Christmas Carol’ will close the inaugural season at FTC.

The production will feature scenic design by Ryan M. Howell, costume design by Natalie Biebel, and lighting design by Blake Kile. Alex DeLeo (Broadway’s Wicked) choreographs, and Brenna Donahue & Connor Deane co-direct the production’s third iteration.
Giannini is joined by Kevin Keating (Bob Cratchit), Kevin O’Neil (Jacob Marley), Gabby Gibbs (Ghost of Christmas Present), Nolan Travis (Young Ebenezer) & Jordyn Freetage (Emily). Rounding out the professional company are Lexi Palmer, Kannon Gowen, Maile Merrick, Kate Morton, Lauren Cook, Hayden Barsamian, Hunter Luedde, Hayden Luedde, Adele Samsonas, Brandon Barksdale & Ethan Horbury. 29 students from Black Rock Theater’s academy will also join the company.
