Services Planned For Fairfield College Student Found Dead In Ohio Stadium: Update
The 19-year-old was a junior at The Ohio State University, according to LinkedIn.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Funeral services have been scheduled in Fairfield on Tuesday for William "Will" E. Meyers, the 19-year-old college student from Fairfield, who was found dead on Friday inside the football stadium of The Ohio State University, The Columbus Dispatch and People Magazine reported.
Meyers was found dead Friday morning. The cause of death has not been disclosed by authorities, but foul play is reportedly not suspected.
Funeral services are being handled locally by the Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, with private visitation for friends and family from noon to 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will be private.

Meyers was a junior at the university and a third-year Accounting student, according to his LinkedIn profile. He graduated from Fairfield Ludlowe High School in 2023, and he helped run a charity that he and his older brother co-founded.
"We collect used and unused sports equipment to donate to community centers as well as continuously maintain an email distribution list," Meyers wrote on LinkedIn. "To date, we have delivered over 6,000 pieces of sports equipment. I am also very passionate about sports and have been providing private pitching instructions in my community for the past 3 years."

At Ohio State, Meyers participated in Division 1 Club Baseball, The Accounting Association, Fisher Real Estate Society, and the Sports Analytics Association, according to LinkedIn.

A university spokesperson told the publications that the school's "thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time," and counseling services were made available to students.
