Date Set For 2025 Fairfield Dog Days

The annual event is hosted by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and Pet Pantry Warehouse.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Pet Pantry Warehouse will host two community events this June aimed at celebrating dogs and supporting local animal welfare organizations. The annual Dog Days festivals are set for Sunday, June 1, in New Canaan and Sunday, June 22, in Fairfield.

The outdoor events will feature activities for families and pet owners, including dog lure coursing, face painting, a pet-themed scavenger hunt, and more. Food trucks and local vendors will also be present.

Proceeds from both events will benefit local animal rescue groups, including Adopt-A-Dog Inc.

“We are happy and grateful to be picked as a charity for Dog Days,” said Christine Amato, executive director of Adopt-A-Dog. “It’s a wonderful event for the community with activities for kids and adults, and it allows us to showcase some of our adoptable animals.”

Vendor registration for the Fairfield event is now open through the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. Spaces are limited, and organizers are encouraging early applications.

“The Fairfield event draws more than 1,500 people,” said Beverly Balaz, president of the chamber. “Although its theme is dogs, attendees are also interested in a wide variety of products. This is one of Fairfield’s larger community events.”

The New Canaan Dog Days event will include a specially curated scavenger hunt by Rock Paper Scissors Custom Events, known for organizing interactive community experiences.

“These events have become a staple in Fairfield County,” said Adam Jacobson, executive vice president of Pet Pantry Warehouse. “They’re designed to bring people together, raise awareness for pet adoption, and give back to the community.”
