Date Set For Next 'Fairfield Arts Mixer'
The event is for all artists, creatives and enthusiasts.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The next "Fairfield Arts Mixer," hosted by the Fairfield’s Arts Commission, is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on May 22 at the Fairfield County Story Lab, located at 85 Mill Plain Road, Suite F in the Sportsplex in Fairfield. The event is for all artists, creatives and enthusiasts, and light bites will be served.
The Fairfield County Story Lab is a shared workspace and business incubator exclusively for writers and creatives. The lab offers a special, quiet space for those looking to hone their craft. There are open spaces to work, as well as individual closed offices.
Considered a networking event, the "Arts Mixer" is an outgrowth from the Community Conversation on the Arts workshop that the Fairfield Arts Commission held this past year.

"The Commission felt that holding regular networking events at different venues throughout Town was something that we could do fairly quickly and didn’t require a lot of resources," said Commission Chair Charlie MacDonald in a statement.
The event is free of charge, but advanced registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited. To register, please go here. For further information, please contact the Office of Community & Economic Development via email at arts@fairfieldct.org. In addition to the opportunity to network with other creatives, attendees can expect to hear an update on the planned downtown cultural district as well as public art initiatives.
