Fairfield Police To Launch Holiday Toy Drive This Week

The department will collect new and unwrapped gifts "to help bring joy to local children and families this holiday season."

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Police Department will host a toy drive beginning on Friday and running through Dec. 19 "to help bring joy to local children and families this holiday season," according to organizers.

New and unwrapped toys can be donated at police headquarters; the lobby of the First Selectman's Office in Independence Hall; the Town Clerk's Office in Town Hall; the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities; and the Park and Recreation Office.

"Every gift makes a difference, and we are grateful for your generosity and community spirit," police officials wrote on Facebook. "Let’s make this holiday season brighter for those who need it most!"

Additionally, the department will hold a "stuff a cruiser" event at the Fairfield TJ MAXX from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 425 Tunxis Hill Cut Off.
