How do you know the local hero?

What does the local hero do?

Gets involved in town events, works after schools at elementary schools with teaching arts & crafts. Also runs road races, like the Colony Hot Oil 5K. She is a valuable member of the community and always brings passion and is uplifting. Cares and helped out organizations, in the past, like the Pilot House center for kids and adults with special needs. Also designs websites with her husband, Michael, owner of Designsite. Melissa specifically helps design Choose Fairfield CT. She is a wonderful friend and person to all and she deserves all the recognition she can get.

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

Because of her passion for Fairfield and the community itself
