Fairfield Warns Residents Of Upcoming Heatwave

The following announcement is from the Fairfield Fire Department:

FAIRFIELD, CT — The National Weather Service on Tuesday issued a hazardous weather outlook for southern Connecticut in advance of an upcoming heat wave.

"High temperatures will reach into the 90s on Thursday, and may approach 100 on Friday. There is a chance that the heat index may reach 105 on Friday," the National Weather Service said.
