Aristokatz Veterinary Hospital, a woman owned feline only vet practice in Fairfield, CT is pleased to welcome Dr. Alex Prescia to the medical staff.

After a nation-wide search, Dr. Geri Katz, owner of Aristokatz was delighted to find Dr. Prescia. “I feel strongly about a feline only practice and wanted to find a veterinarian that is as passionate about the unique needs of cats as I am,” said Dr. Katz. “I believe in preventative care and educating pet parents to ensure their cats have long healthy lives. Focusing on cats only and their unique needs enables us to provide them exceptional care.”
Dr. Prescia moved to Fairfield County from Indiana to take this position. She was a full-time veterinarian at Coyne Vet Animal Hospital. Dr. Prescia earned a B.S. in Biology from Purchase College and her DVM from the Ross School of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from New York, Dr. Prescia is happy to be back in the Northeast.

“I've always been interested in feline medicine and especially in geriatric and neonatal patients,” said Dr. Alex Prescia. “And once I talked to Dr. Katz, I knew it would be a perfect fit. Her outlook on feline medicine and the way that she practices medicine is very similar to the way that I approach my patients and their human parents.”
Both Dr. Katz and Dr. Prescia provide preventative well visits for cats of every age, spaying and neutering, behavioral consultations, dental care, sick and emergency visits, and extensive diagnostic services.
