First Presbyterian Church Of Fairfield Launches 2nd Annual Upward Sports Basketball League

FAIRFIELD, CT — First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield is excited to announce the return of its Upward Sports Basketball League for the second consecutive year, launching this winter. Open to boys and girls ages 5–13, the league welcomes players of all skill levels. No prior basketball experience is required, and no tryouts are involved. It’s a league designed to support children who already love the game and children who are just getting started!

Upward Sports is a nationally recognized Christian youth sports organization dedicated to developing the whole athlete- physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Through engaging play, positive coaching, and character-building lessons, Upward creates an encouraging environment where every child can learn and thrive both on and off the court.

This winter’s league will feature age-divided practices and scrimmages, ensuring players receive developmentally appropriate coaching and play opportunities. Families can expect a well-structured season designed to build skills, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
