The National Weather Service has just issued a hazardous weather outlook for all of Fairfield County. Here are the new details.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service on Monday afternoon issued a hazardous weather outlook for Fairfield County due to upcoming icing concerns on Tuesday.
"Pockets of light freezing rain are possible on Tuesday. Even a small amount of freezing rain is capable of producing hazardous conditions," the weather service said in an update for Fairfield County.
The snow and sleet is forecast after 1 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the weather service. And it now looks like we could see rain and or snow beginning on Tuesday through next Monday, though it appears Saturday looks nice during the daytime hours.

Tuesday: A chance of rain before 1pm, then snow and sleet likely, possibly mixed with rain. Cloudy, with a high near 34. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Light west wind. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
