Heather Fitzgerald named Top Realtor at Yellowbrick Real Estate

Yellowbrick Real Estate recently held its Annual Award Ceremony to congratulate all of their Top Producing Realtors as well as outstanding Staff Members who truly stand out in the real estate business. The ceremony was held at the newly established Park City Music Hall in Black Rock and recognized over 20 of it’s Top Agents but the most coveted prize, the Top Producer of the Year Award, went to Heather Fitzgerald.

Heather Fitzgerald is not only the Top Salesperson at Yellowbrick, she also manages the Top Producing Group at the firm, The Elite Team. Heather sold a total of $22 million in net sales in 2021 and over 76 properties - everything from condos to commercial to luxury. Her team of 9 Realtors, with their branch office located on Main Street in Branford, sold over $53 million and over 200 properties servicing their clients all across the state of Connecticut. Heather and her Team joined Yellowbrick Real Estate in October 2019, a partnership that has flourished since the start. Heather Fitzgerald has been in the business for over 17 years and she has seen all types of transactions and weathered all types of real estate markets. A wife and mother to 4 children, she started in the industry because she was seeking a career that could give her the ability to pick up her kids from school, attend events, and sports activities. She says that ‘consistency, knowledge, and excellent customer service’ lay the foundation for her success and that her Team and family push her to always do better.

When asked to give advice to those interested in becoming a licensed Real Estate Agent, Heather says, “It’s not as easy as you think but it can be as amazing as it looks. The high’s are extremely high but the lows are low.” She notes that she loves showing homes to buyers seeking their dream home, as well as helping sellers achieve their goals when they thought no one could. Whatever you choose to do career-wise, “be genuine, be real, and really truly love what you do.”

The housing industry has been in the news consistently since the pandemic started; we have all heard of those stories of houses flying off the market within hours and for thousands over asking price; it’s important for both the seller and the buyer to have a Realtor such as Heather working for them. With 58% of her business coming from working with sellers, she simply tells them, “ ‘Let me guide you. I’m here to help and I have your best interest at heart.’ ”

“We are growing everyday, not just with Agents but with knowledge. The Elite Team is always learning how to take the very best care of their clients, from marketing to customer service and more. Our social media marketing is going to quadruple, our marketing presence is going to be huge in 2022.
