Notre Dame Prep Kicks Off 26 Acts of Kindness Campaign
The campaign aims to spread positivity and kindness in the community while honoring the lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary.

On Monday, November 10, Notre Dame Prep of Sacred Heart University kicked off its annual 26 Acts of Kindness campaign in memory of the lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary. With themes ranging from “Say Please and Thank You Day” to “World Kindness Day,” there will be no shortage of compassion within the halls of ND Prep.
In the lead up to the holiday season, the Lancers will host collections for frozen turkeys, stocking stuffers, gently used coats, canned food, and diapers to help those in need over this six-week campaign. Students also have the chance to thank teachers, first responders, and soldiers by writing letters of gratitude.
The premiere event of this annual endeavor is Notre Dame Prep’s Service Day. On Friday, November 21, the entire student population, joined by faculty, staff and parents, will travel across Connecticut to carry out a day of service at a wide range of nonprofits, including churches, service organizations and educational institutions. In one day, the school community will complete over 3,000 hours of service.
