Patricia D. Peabody, 86, passed away on Feb. 10, 2024; a Fordham University graduate and former model with the Ford Modeling Agency, she built a career in advertising, real estate relocation, and property management, while enjoying reading, gardening, decorating, and collecting antiques.

Frederick W. Thomas, 90, passed away on Feb. 10, 2025; a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served as a Sergeant during the Korean War, he worked as a mason for the Town of Fairfield’s Department of Public Works for 35 years before retiring in 2006, was a member of the Gaelic-American Club, a devoted country music and NY Jets fan, and enjoyed visiting wineries, particularly in the Finger Lakes region.

Sandra Stolze, 80, passed away on Feb. 6, 2025; after starting her career in retail, she rose through the banking industry to become a Vice President at Merrill Lynch Credit Corp and later JP Morgan Chase, while enjoying music, dancing, and a lifelong admiration for Elvis.

Rodney T. Wasel, 85, passed away on Feb. 5, 2025; an engineer at Pitney Bowes for over 40 years, he was known for his skill in building and repairs, served as a Eucharistic minister, and enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and working as a trail steward for Aspetuck Land Trust.

John Bett, 91, passed away on Jan. 24, 2025; a chemist who specialized in fuel cell technology at United Technology Research Division, he later lectured at Yale and worked at Los Alamos National Lab before dedicating retirement to golf, art, history, and serving as a docent at the Yale Art Gallery and British Art Center.
