3 Major Promotions Announced At Farmington PD

FARMINGTON, CT — Three Farmington law enforcers now have new roles in the Farmington Police Department following promotions last week.

The FPD announced that Farmington Police Chief Paul Melanson made three promotions within the department's ranks on Sept. 11:

• Officer Alex Jones was promoted to sergeant and will be assigned to the patrol division.

• Sgt. Matt Keepin was promoted to lieutenant, and he will be the department's investigative and support services division commander.

• Lt. Kory Vincent was promoted to captain, and he will serve as the FPD's second in command behind Melanson.
