Alzheimer's Support Group To Meet In Farmington

The support group for those caring for loved ones will get together in person or virtually at Farmington Station on Thursday, March 21.

FARMINGTON, CT — A special support group for folks caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's will take place at a local assisted living facility next week.

Called "Hearts, Hugs & Hope," the group is offered by Farmington Station, an assisted living community located at 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington.

The group meets at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, at the facility.

"Dealing with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia isn't easy, so it is helpful to share your concerns and personal experiences with others who completely understand what you're going through," wrote Farmington Station in an announcement. "You will also learn about proven strategies to help you better care for your family member."

This group is being offered both in person and via Zoom.
