Dementia Caregivers Group To Meet In Farmington

The program will take place on Thursday, April 17, at the Farmington Station assisted living facility.

FARMINGTON, CT — A special support group for those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia illnesses will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 17, in Farmington.

"Hearts, Hugs & Hope" is an Alzheimer’s support group offered by Farmington Station, an assisted living facility at 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington.

"Dealing with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia isn't easy, so it is helpful to share your concerns and personal experiences with others who completely understand what you're going through," wrote Farmington Station in an announcement.

"You will also learn about proven strategies to help you better care for your family member. This group is being offered both in person and via Zoom on the third Thursday of each month."
