Farmington Libraries' Summer Reading Is Heating Up
Both town libraries have kicked off their 2025 summer reading programs for children and adults of all ages.
FARMINGTON, CT — Summer is heating up, and so are the activities at the Farmington Libraries.
The library system recently announced that its 2025 Summer Reading program is in full swing at both the Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive, and the Barney Library, 71 Main St.
Children and adults alike are invited to participate in a series of programs where, essentially, prizes are awarded based on the amount of books read.

Specifically, programs are available for:
• Preschoolers - Visit either library to pick up a Summer Reading gameboard. Turn in a special gameboard by Aug. 18

• Grades K-6, Teens & Adults - Register for our online program using ReadSquared. Log the books you read throughout the summer for a chance to win prizes. Enter to win before Aug. 18.
