Farmington Support Group Helps Alzheimer's Caregivers

The support group will take place on Thursday, July 18, at an assisted living facility in Farmington.

FARMINGTON, CT — A local assisted living facility is hosting a special support group on Thursday, July 18, for caregivers of loved ones battling Alzheimer's disease.

Called "Hearts, Hugs & Hope: An Alzheimer’s Support Group," the meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the Farmington Station Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington.

"Dealing with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia isn't easy, so it is helpful to share your concerns and personal experiences with others who completely understand what you're going through," wrote Farmington Station.

Attendees will learn about proven strategies to help you better care for their loved ones.

The support group is being offered both in person and via Zoom.
