Large Residential Properties Have New Owners In Simsbury/Farmington
The Mass.-based chain has acquired senior living communities in Farmington and Simsbury.
FARMINGTON/SIMSBURY, CT—A Burlington, Mass., company has recently acquired two area senior citizen/assisted living communities: one in Farmington and one in Simsbury.
Northbridge Communities, an owner and operator of senior living communities for more than 20 years, has expanded into Connecticut.
The company Feb. 28 acquired Riverbend at Farmington and Skybrooke at Simsbury.

"With this expansion, Northbridge Communities brings its commitment to exceptional care, personalized service, and a strong sense of belonging to seniors and families in Connecticut," wrote Northbridge in a release. "The transition to Northbridge ensures that residents continue to receive exceptional care while benefiting from Northbridge’s extensive experience and compassionate approach."
Northbridge officials said they were excited by the acquisitions.

Riverbend, located at 1 Bridgewater Road, Farmington, specializes in assisted living and memory care for senior citizens.
Skybrook, located at 142 Cooper Lane, Simsbury, specializes in the same services.
