Mental Health Care Provider To Help Troubled Teens In Farmington Area

FARMINGTON, CT — A local behavior healthcare provider is expanding its services and offering outpatient programs for teenagers in Farmington and the Hartford County area.

High Focus Centers earlier this month said it is now offering outpatient treatment programs in Farmington for adolescents aged 13-17 diagnosed with a mental health, substance use and/or co- occurring mental health disorders.

Commercial insurance and self-payment are accepted.

For over 25 years, High Focus Centers has provided outpatient addiction and mental health care to adolescents and adults, continuously growing to meet the increasing demand for these services.

The new location in Farmington marks the company’s second outpatient program in the state and 14th across North Carolina, New Jersey, Georgia and Connecticut overall.

The Norwalk location, which opened in early 2020, serves adults and teens with mental health disorders in the Fairfield County area.

Located at 17 Talcott Notch Road, Farmington, High Focus Centers’ partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs help teens address depression, anxiety, self-harm and other mental health conditions, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders.

Adult mental health outpatient treatment will be available at the location in the foreseeable future, according to High Focus.
