Support Group For Dementia Caregivers Slated In Farmington
The program on Wednesday, May 16, is for caregivers dealing with a loved one with dementia and/or Alzheimer's disease.
FARMINGTON, CT — A support group for those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's and dementia will take place this week at a Farmington retirement community.
"Hearts, Hugs & Hope: An Alzheimer’s Support Group" will take place Wednesday, May 16, at 6 p.m. It will take place at Farmington Station, 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington.
The Farmington Station Assisted Living and Memory Care Community is hosting the program to provide an outlet for folks to share their concerns and personal experiences with others who understand.

Participants will also learn about proven strategies to help better care for a family member and/or loved one.
The group is being offered both in person and via Zoom.
