Support Group For Dementia Caregivers Slated At Farmington Facility
The group will meet on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Farmington Station and via Zoom.
FARMINGTON, CT — A special support group for people caring for loved ones stricken with dementia and/or Alzheimer's disease will take place Thursday, Nov. 21.
Called "Hearts, Hugs & Hope: An Alzheimer’s Support Group," the program will be on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. at Farmington Station Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington.
"Dealing with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia isn't easy, so it is helpful to share your concerns and personal experiences with others who completely understand what you're going through," wrote Farmington Station in an announcement.

"You will also learn about proven strategies to help you better care for your family member."
This group is being offered both in person and via Zoom on the third Thursday of each month.
