Westfarm's JC Penney Reopens Friday After Water Pipe Break

Several departments, such as the lingerie department, are still being cleaned up.

The Westfarms' JC Penney is open for business Friday, a store employee confirmed, after a broken water pipe forced the store to shut down Thursday.

The employee said that a few departments, including the lingerie department, are still closed Friday due to water damage.

It seemed like construction work caused the pipe to break Thursday, the Hartford Courant reports.
