64-Year-Old Woman Facing Arson Charge In Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 64-year-old Glastonbury woman is in custody on a $100,000 bond while facing an arson charge in connection with a fire last week, judicial system and police records show.

Police are terming the incident domestic violence. An arrest report on the incident was released this week.

The fire broke out on May 13 on Margaret Lane and two days later, Glastonbury Police arrested Linda McNally via a warrant, according to an arrest report. She has been charged with:

  • Third-degree arson
  • First-degree criminal mischief
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Second-degree reckless endangerment
  • Third-degree strangulation
  • Second-degree threatening

The arson and criminal mischief charges are felonies in Connecticut.

According to an arrest report, detectives applied for the warrant after determining that McNally intentionally set a fire in the kitchen of a home following a physical altercation.

McNally appeared in Manchester Superior Court on May 16, and failed to post the $100,000 bond set in the case, judicial system and law enforcement records show. She is due back in court on July 17, records show.
