Arrest Made In 2023 Big Box Store Theft Cases In Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 41-year-old New London man has been charged for what appears to be habitual thefts at a Glastonbury big box store.

Thomas Modla is currently in custody on $10,000 bonds for five warrants and was remanded without bond for a sixth set of charges out of Glastonbury.

He is due for a second court appearance on July 25, judicial system records show.

June 16 2023: Modla has been charged with driving while under suspension and third-degree larceny in connection with the theft of tools, according to an arrest report.

June 23, 2023: Modla has been charged with driving while under suspension and third-degree larceny in connection with the theft of tools, according to an arrest report.

June 26, 2023: Modla has been charged with third-degree larceny in connection with the theft of tools and electrical supplies, according to an arrest report.

July 3, 2023: Modla has been charged with third-degree larceny in connection with the theft of tools and electrical supplies, according to an arrest report.

Dec. 19, 2023: Modla has been charged with third-degree larceny in connection with the theft of smoke alarms and electrical supplies, according to an arrest report.
