GLASTONBURY, CT — A stretch of Hebron Avenue between Weir Street and Pembroke Terrace reopened early Tuesday following overnight repairs related to a motor vehicle crash.

The crash took place at about 2 p.m. Monday and the road was quickly closed in both directions, authorities said. A utility pole was knocked down during the crash and it took electrical lines with it.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation set up a detour around the scene and a crew from Eversource Energy was at the scene to repair the pole, police said. It took several hours, police said.
