ESCU Golf Team Keeps Streak Going With Player From Glastonbury
A Glastonbury resident is part of the ECSU men's golf squad.
WILLIMANTIC, CT — The men's golf team at Eastern Connecticut State University won the Little East Conference championship on Oct. 7. The team will compete in the NCAA Division III tournament this coming May.
Among the golfers is first-year player Nicholas DiNino of Glastonbury, who majors in Finance.
Eastern is the only champion the LEC tournament has known, winning the first LEC Invitational two years ago and last year's inaugural LEC Championship at Rutland (Vt.) Country Club before repeating again this year.
