Glastonbury Area Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving Day 2023

GLASTONBURY, CT — For those in Glastonbury who don’t want to spend hours or even days cooking and cleaning up from a big turkey dinner, several restaurants are open Thanksgiving Day.

Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 23, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan as much as possible.

In the region, three staples on different ends of the culinary spectrum — Clubhouse on Main in Glastonbury, Geno Auriemma's Cafe Aura in Manchester and the Vernon Diner — are all open on Thanksgiving, but the suggestion is to call ahead because the area is hopping with the Manchester Road Race being staged in the morning. Runners and spectators typically flock to the diner afterward or stay around for a brunch.
