Glastonbury Businesses: N95 Masks Available For Employees
The town has set aside some masks to be distributed to local businesses, and business owners can request them via an online form.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury officials have put aside some N95 masks for local businesses, and business owners can request a supply for their staff online.
The face coverings are part of a supply Glastonbury received from the state, and the Connecticut National Guard has verified they are not among the masks that were recalled last month for not meeting protection standards, officials said.
Business owners who would like N95 masks for their staff should submit a request form online here by Feb. 28. Town officials will then follow up to coordinate a pickup time at the Glastonbury Town Hall.

Masks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis as supplies last — town officials said they don't currently have enough for every business in town — and business owners are asked to be patient as staff work to address each request.
"This distribution is part of the Town's ongoing efforts to encourage local businesses to implement mask requirements for their respective staff," town officials said. "In lieu of another mask mandate, all local businesses are strongly encouraged to require face masks for their staff, especially for those who closely interact with patrons (e.g. retail, restaurants, personal care services, etc.)."

Additional distribution opportunities will be announced as they become available, and anyone with questions about the mask distribution is asked to contact Marketing and Communications Manager Kathryn Paquette at 860-652-7518.
