GLASTONBURY, CT β€” It's that time of year again, when dog from Glastonbury hunt for festive eggs.

The annual Glastonbury Ester Egg Hunt For Dogs is slated for Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at Riverfront Park, 300 Welles St.

The egg hunt begins promptly at 10 and will be staged rain or shine.

More than 6,000 eggs will be hidden.

Every egg contains a treat or prize for dogs and their human companions, including gift certificates and other surprises.

The cost is $10 per dog. Dogs must be on leash with up to date rabies tag or certification. No aggressive dogs will be able to participate, officials said.
