The man is accused of swiping packs of cigarettes during a November break-in.

GLASTONBURY, CT - A suspected burglar is accused of pilfering packs of cigarettes from a Glastonbury gas station during a November break-in.
According to a Glastonbury Police report, someone broke through the front door of the Citgo gas station at 592 Hebron Ave. on Nov. 26.
Police obtained an arrest warrant that accuses Joe L. Ellison Jr., 57, of School Street, Hartford, of being the person who then stole “numerous loose packs of cigarettes from behind the counter,” according to the report.

Ellison was served with the arrest warrant charging him with third-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief when he appeared Feb. 23 in state Superior Court in Manchester, according to the report. Ellison was unable to post $20,000 bond.
Police said he has been in custody since his arrest for a convenience store burglary in Plymouth in December.
