Glastonbury Obituary: Ann-Barbara Gill, 76

Condolences are extended to her family and friends.

Ann-Barbara (Hacker) Gill, 76, of Glastonbury, died Tuesday Sept. 11, 2018 at Hartford Hospital.

Born November 1, 1941 in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Frank, Sr. and Mary (Speigel) Hacker, she had lived in Glastonbury most of her life. Prior to her retirement she worked for over 30 years at CBT/ Bank of America. Ann had a special place in her heart for the Special Olympics and defending wildlife.

Ann is survived by her 4 children, Thomas F. Gill, Eric W, Gill, Lisa-Marie Gill and Kevin O. Gill all of Glastonbury. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren Ethan, Emily, Kira and Joshua Gill, Boston and Mariah Rasmussen, Walker and Shawn Gill, Amber, Shannon and Ryan Estanialau and 2 great grandchildren Julianna and Grason Diaz, a niece Janet Hacker and a daughter-in-law Karen Calver. She was predeceased by her brother Frank T. Hacker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday Sept. 15 at 11:30am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Friday Sept. 14 from 4-7pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA.org/donate.
