GLASTONBURY, CT — A Glastonbury resident reported missing by his family was located by police several hours later, but was then arrested for drunken driving a report indicates.

Police released an arrest report on the July 26 incident Monday.

The previous evening, a family member reported the 54 year old as missing. At 1:01 the next morning, officers located the man in a car — impaired — in the Sam's Food Stores parking lot on New London Turnpike, according to an arrest report.

The man was charged with driving under the influence and is slated to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Aug. 22, records show.
