Glastonbury's, SCSU's Caiola Places 11th In Division II Nationals

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Glastonbury native and Southern Connecticut State University junior Hannah Caiola placed 11th in the 400 meters at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Caiola, competing at the nationals for the first time, ran a time of 54.73. That was good for fourth in her heat and 11th overall.

Caiola wrapped up a 2024-25 Indoor season that featured an NCAA record in the 300 meters, multiple SCSU records, two Northeast-10 gold medals, and multiple weekly honors.

She placed ninth in the 400 meters at last year's Outdoor Nationals.

Caiola's teammates Cameron Belton and Natanael Barbosa Torres are set to compete in the shot put at the National Championships on Saturday, streamed live on NCAA.com.
