GLASTONBURY, CT β€” The Historic Glastonbury-to-Rocky Hill Gerry started its fourth week stuck at the dock because of high water levels in the Connecticut River.

The season typically starts April 1 and runs into the fall.

High water levels make docking the tug-and-barge ferry tricky. High waters also tend to carry debris in a strong current, making things even more treacherous, officials have said.
