Kevin McMillan Elected to Board of Directors and as Treasurer of Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau

Kevin McMillan, CPA, has been elected to the Board of Directors and as the new Treasurer of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS).
“We are pleased to welcome Kevin McMillan to our Board and as our organization’s Treasurer,” explains Robert Murdock, President of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau (CTMEETINGS). “His accounting expertise in a variety of industries and professions will be invaluable as we expand our work to generate business and funds for the State and the regions where the events take place.”
McMillan is Director of Accounting Services at Fiondella Milone & LaSaracina LLP (also known as FML) in Glastonbury. The Marlborough resident brings more than a dozen years of public accounting experience, as well as three years working internally at a Fortune 500 corporation in the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industry. McMillan has been with FML for more than seven years and works within the firm’s accounting services practice – specifically with not-for profit, professional service, technology, and manufacturing industries, along with companies in the early stages of operations. He previously worked within FML’s audit practice, an experience that allows him to evaluate client needs in a comprehensive manner.

McMillan earned his bachelors and masters degrees in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, and is a member of both the Connecticut Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He lives in Marlborough with his wife, Crystal, and their two sons.
