GLASTONBURY, CT — A fire alarm call in Glastonbury last week turned into a doubly whammy for a Cheshire man.

According to arrest reports, at 11:27 a.m. on Aug, 22, Glastonbury police responded to a home on Carriage Drive after a fire alarm had gone off.

Police then arrested a 48-year-old Cheshire man on the premises for violating a protective order, according to arrest reports.

Shortly after, police discovered that a warrant had been issued out of Waterbury Superior Court for the man's arrest on a home improvement contractor requirement violation.
