GLASTONBURY, CT — An 18-year-old from Glastonbury is facing a second-degree sexual assault charge after an encounter with someone underage, police said. The teen was arrested at 4:25 a.m. Monday, according to an arrest report. He was also charged with risk of injury to a minor, records show. Officers initially responded to the parking lot of 12 Stony Brook Drive for a "request of assistance." Upon arrival, it was discovered that the 18-year-old "had sexual intercourse with a minor," according to an arrest report. The teen posted a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Nov. 10, records show.
