Water Levels Drop, Glastonbury Boat Launch Back Open

GLASTONBURY, CT — The boat launch parking lot at Riverfront Park in Glastonbury is back open.

It had been closed because of high waters in the Connecticut River.

Late last week, flooding in the parking area prompted town officials to place barricades there and ask residents to refrain from attempting to access the boat launch until the waters receded. On Wednesday, they said the water had gone down to a safe level.
