Greenwich High School Named To 2025 Advanced Placement School Honor Roll

Greenwich High earned Gold status on the College Board's 2025 AP School Honor Roll for high AP exam participation and student achievement.

GREENWICH, CT — The College Board has named Greenwich High School to its 2025 Advanced Placement School Honor Roll, awarding the school an overall "Gold" distinction for the second consecutive year, Greenwich Public Schools announced.

The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose Advanced Placement programs expand access while supporting student performance, based on measures tied to participation, exam success and college readiness.

According to the district, 68 percent of Greenwich High School seniors took at least one AP exam during high school, qualifying the school for a Gold rating on participation.

In addition, 65 percent of seniors scored a 3 or higher on at least one AP exam, and 26 percent took five or more AP exams, both of which met the College Board’s Platinum-level benchmarks.

The College Board’s Advanced Placement program offers college-level coursework in 40 subjects, with students able to earn college credit or advanced placement based on their performance on end-of-course exams.
