Always Home to Benefit from Stop & Shop’s Bloomin’ 4 Good Program

Give Back to the Community Program to Help Struggling Families Stay Housed

Brighten up the dark winter days with a bouquet of flowers and you’ll be donating to Always Home’s mission, Preventing Family Homelessness. The nonprofit agency has been selected by Stop & Shop to receive a $1 donation for every $10.99 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker purchased at the store located at 220 Route 12, Groton CT during the month of January.

“The pandemic continues to take its toll on low-income families,” said Tricia Cunningham, Always Home’s Executive Director. “When you’re living paycheck to paycheck, losing a week of work because you are home with a sick child is enough to trigger a slide into homelessness.”

The Stop & Shop Bloomin' 4 Good Program is an easy way for shoppers to give back as part of the regular shopping routine and to acknowledge the challenges low-income residents in our region continue to face.

“A bouquet of flowers in January brings hope that Spring is not that far away,” said Cunningham. “Now that same bouquet can bring hope to struggling families too! We are grateful to be chosen once again to benefit from Stop & Shop’s meaningful community giveback.”
