Dedicated In Honor Of A Bicentenniel

The Local Chapters Of The Daughters Of The American Revolution Gave This Marker

The local Daughters of the American Revolution erected this stone years ago to mark the bicentennial of the route George Washington traveled on Old Post Road to Boston in 1756.

Do you know where it is?

This week, our shout out goes to Stacey Singer, Heidi Hanzel and Maryann Denobrega, who correctly guessed that the bench in last week's Where is it?" photo was taken in Groton Long Point. The bench is on East Shore Avenue.

Hanzel knew the street even though she now lives in Virginia; she spent every summer biking down the road when there were no benches there.
