DOT Proposes $12.5 Million Project For I-95 Exit Interchange In Groton

The design includes roundabouts at three intersections, according to a report.

GROTON, CT — The state Department of Transportation is proposing a $12.5 million roundabout project for exit 89 on I-95 in Groton, according to The Day of New London.

The proposal is intended to increase traffic flow at the Allyn Street exit among other improvements. Single-lane roundabouts are being proposed at three intersections.
