Help Keep Music Alive presents the 8th benefit concert for Fitch High School Music Department featuring Eras: A Taylor Swift Tribute Concert on February 21 at Fitch High School Auditorium. Eras: Taylor Swift Concert recently performed at Mohegan Sun to a sold-out audience with their live 5-piece band and 4 vocal female singers and dancers. Past performances for the Fitch High School Music program included Beatlemania, Tusk a Fleetwood Mac Tribute, Kasmir Led Zeppelin Tribute and many other great bands.
The Fitch High School Music Department has won many awards in major band competitions throughout New England and are always participating in our communities’ events, parades and more. Part of the money raised for this event will help support travel expenses while attending these events and necessary musical equipment and instruments.
The Fitch High School Music Program provides education in orchestration, Marching band, Chorus, Jazz ensemble and more with over 120 students enrolled in the music program. Tickets for the concert are on sale at Johnson’s Hardware 40 Fort Hill Rd. in Groton and Eventbrite.com.
