High School Athletic Field Improvements Move Forward In Groton: Report
Voters approved the $14.3 million bonding proposal last month, according to a report.
GROTON, CT — Voters have approved a $14.3 million project to improve athletic facilities at Robert E. Fitch High School. Construction is anticipated to begin on the project in 2027, according to The Day of New London.
The project will bring additional accessible parking and walkways to the field, a new eight-lane track, and a new synthetic multi-purpose field.
