Police Announce Road Closures For Noank, Mystic Memorial Day Parades
The Groton Police Department is announcing road closures and traffic congestion alerts for the upcoming holiday.

GROTON, CT — The Groton Police Department announce road closures and traffic congestion alerts for Monday, May 27, 2024, in the Noank and downtown Mystic areas. The road closures and traffic congestion alerts are in conjunction with the Noank Memorial Day Parade and the Mystic Memorial Day Parade.
Noank road closures will occur at approximately 10:00 AM on Monday May 27, 2024 and will remain in effect for a short period of time after the parade is complete. These closures include:

- Elm Street- From Brook Street to Prospect Hill Rd.
- The Noank Village area including Mosher Avenue, Ward Avenue, Main Street, Pearl Street. High Street, and Sylvan Street.
The Mystic road closures will occur at approximately 2:00 PM, on Monday, May 27, 2024, and will remain in effect until approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the parade. The closures are:
- West Main St: From the Drawbridge to High Street.
- Water Street: From West Main Street to New London Road.
- Pearl Street: From West Main Street to Clift Street.
- Gravel Street: From West Main Street to Clift Street.
Moderate traffic conditions are anticipated in and around the Noank and downtown Mystic areas, before, during and after the parade.
