THE TREE OF HOPE
Noank Baptist Church Teams Up with the Neighborhood
In 2024, the Noank Baptist Church congregation teamed up with the local community to start a new Noank Village tradition for the holiday season: the Tree of Hope.
For some, the winter season comes with grief, hardships, and loneliness. The Tree of Hope brings light and healing to those who need to be reminded that, even in darkness, we can come together to lighten our burdens and care for each other. Donors have designated people, pets, and causes they wish to shine a light on this year.
The Lighting of the Tree of Hope will take place this coming Sunday, November 30th, 2025 at 5:30 pm. Join us for this special celebration with carols led by The Fitch Falcon Carolers, hot chocolate, and holiday lights.

This year’s lights were also a team effort! Special thanks to Satti Family Tree Services for your time and effort! Also, HUGE thank you to Noank Village Boatyard for providing and installing this year's lights, and for installing our newest addition to the tree, a star. These companies donate their services and machinery to install the lights on Noank’s Tree of Hope.
Donations are being accepted at the church for an organization that provides critical services at this time for people who are presently homeless and need assistance to qualify for being able to acquire affordable housing. Our combined church and neighborhood committee has selected The New London Homeless Hospitality Center to be the recipient for this season.
Please mail to, or drop off donations at, Noank Baptist Church, 18 Cathedral Heights (off of Main Street) Noank, CT 06340. Make out your checks to "Noank Baptist Church" with "Tree of Hope" in the memo line.
