Obituary: Carol Anne (Nizen) Alexander, 59, formerly of Hamden
Carol loved the beach, going on vacations and cherished spending time with family and friends above all else.
HAMDEN, CT - (From Hamden Memorial Funeral Home) Carol Anne (Nizen) Alexander, age 59, of Cheshire and formally of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on November 21, 2021 at Hartford Hospital.
She was born on June 5, 1962, in New Haven, the daughter of the late Peter and Judith (Sienna) Nizen Jr. Loving Mother of Bryan Alexander and Michelle Rhodes both of Cheshire.
Devoted grandmother of grandchildren Lucien and River.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister Amy Nizen Blakeslee formerly of Wallingford.
Cherished Sister of Peter Nizen III of Hamden, and loving Aunt to his sons Peter Nizen IV and Tyler Nizen.
She is also survived by her significant other Jay Mansfield Jr. of Cheshire, brother-in-law Brendan Blakeslee of Wallingford, Uncle Nicholas Sienna of Wallingford, and Beloved family friend Donna Cifaldi of Hamden.
Carol cherished spending time with family and friends above all else.
She also loved going to the beach, both in Wellfleet on Cape Cod, where she spent summer vacations while growing up, and in Carolina Beach, NC where she hoped to retire.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 27, 2021 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, from 11am-1:30pm., with Funeral Services starting at 1:30pm.
