1 Rushed To Hospital After Being Shot In Hartford: Police

The incident happened late Saturday afternoon on Goodrich Street.

HARTFORD, CT — City police are investigating a shooting over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend that sent one person to the hospital.

According to the Hartford Police Department,at about 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, officers responded to the area of 15 Goodrich St. on a report of a person struck by gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, according to police.

Police said the victim was alert and conscious and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The HPD said his injury appears to be non-life-threatening.

The Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division responded to the scene and have assumed the investigation, police said.
