1st In-House Cannabis Brand Grown in a Social Equity Facility
Fine Fettle's Comffy brand was cultivated at the company's recently opened facility in Bloomfield.

Fine Fettle recently introduced Connecticut’s first in-house cannabis brand grown in a Social Equity Cultivation Facility. Comffy was cultivated at the company’s recently opened facility in Bloomfield. It’s the first indoor cannabis cultivation site built under Connecticut’s Section 149 social equity provisions. The launch marks a significant step in vertical integration for Fine Fettle, providing a homegrown option for both medical and recreational customers.
Fine Fettle’s 46,000-square-foot, union-built facility represents a $20 million investment in a Disproportionately Impacted Area (DIA), creating local jobs and driving tax revenue for the town of Bloomfield. Developed under a Project Labor Agreement (PLA), it is the first of its kind in the state to fully align with Connecticut’s social equity goals for cannabis.
“This is more than a product launch. It’s a milestone for Connecticut’s cannabis industry,” said Erik Bjornson, Director of Facility Operations and Production at Fine Fettle. “We’re proud to set the standard for quality cultivation, compliance, and community investment.”
